What is Tele-underwriting?
Tele-Underwriting is a process by where trained underwriters contact your client to ask all the medical questions that would normally appear on a protection application.
What is the Process?
There are a number of providers that offer this service (see the below table). The process is simple. You as the adviser would complete a simplifed application form and submit this to the provider who would then contact your client at a pre arranged time to ask the medical questions. Once this has taken place the decision is made and you are notified as to whether the case has been accepted etc...
